MANILA – Fair weather with isolated rains will continue to prevail across the country, the weather bureau said Thursday.
"At present, the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting most parts of the country. Despite this, we do not expect widespread rains," said Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 a.m. weather advisory, PAGASA said Luzon will have fair weather with isolated rains caused by thunderstorms.
The temperature in Laoag is up to 33 °C, while Metro Manila will have up to 32 °C.
The Visayas and Mindanao will also experience fair weather, with chances of isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, Aurelio said.
Zamboanga's temperature is up to 35 °C; while Davao, Tacloban, and Cebu can expect up to 32 °C.
Moderate winds and moderate seas will prevail over northern Luzon.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.
Aurelio said there is no low pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. (PNA)
